The DeliBander
Part of the M1250 Series of machines, the DeliBander is fast and provides consistent full body or neck banding for larger diameter bottles or containers. How does it work?
The DeliBander is designed to convert a continuous supply of material from a roll, to individual pieces, and then apply the individual pieces to a passing container. A container is then transported under the application area by a conveyor. After a few additional steps, the container passes a sensor which releases the band from the vacuum bar at the appropriate time and the container continues on to pass under a ski which will slide the rear part of the band over the back side. The band is now full encircling the target area and will shrink to the contour of the container (lid) when exposed to heat. At this point the machine will start the process all over again. Note: the beginning of the process is the band hanging from the vacuum bar in a state of wait, for the container to be transported past the application area.
